Hello World!

This blog is the result of my longing for life outside of the classroom--hence the title, The Hall Pass.  I'm hoping to cover everything from current events to product reviews, college football to my daily experiences.  This is my first post, so I don't have a single follower yet.  But, hey, where would the Pyramids of Giza be without the laying of that first stone?

Today is Sunday, and, unfortunately, it won't be quite the "day of rest" that it was intended to be.  On the schedule today is homework from Journalism and Trig., along with weedeating the neighbor's lawn and cleaning my horrendously messy room.  Hopefully, I can squeeze in a little ACT prep time as well.  I've decided against seeing the movie Inception for a second time, simply because of my busy schedule today.  I highly recommend this show--it is original in every sense of the word.  The acting is superb and the special effects are unprecidented.  The storyline will leave your heart pounding and your mind searching for answers, but, little by little, you will piece it all together.  It's simply a brilliant film.  Here is the link to the movie's review on IMDb.com.  It scores a 9.1 out of 10 user rating there.

Feel free to ask questions, send in suggested topics for discussion, or just snoop around to see what you can find here.  For starters, I think I'll see how one or two posts a day feels, and go from there.
